This event is held under the National Sporting Code of the Auto-Cycle
Union, the Standing Regulations, Supplementary Regulations and any Final
Instructions issued for the meeting.
Copies of the ACU National Sporting Code are available on application,
with payment of £1.50, from ACU,
ENTRY DECLARATION: I/we, the undersigned apply to enter
the event described above and in consideration thereof:
1. I/we hereby declare that I/we
have had the opportunity to read, and that I/we understand the National Sporting
Code of the ACU, the
ACU Standing Regulations,
such Supplementary Regulations as have or may be issued for the event, and
agree to be bound by them.
2. I/we further declare that I am/we
are physically and mentally fit to take part in the event and are competent to
do so.
3. I/we confirm that I/we understand
the nature and type of events and the risk inherent with the sport and agree to
accept the same
Notwithstanding that such risks may involve negligence
on the part of the organisers/officials.
4. I/we further agree that I/we shall
not seek to claim against the ACU, the organisers nor their officials, the landowners, the promoter
or
Other bodies or individuals connected with the event
in respect any damage to my/our property howsoever caused, and whether by the
negligence or breech of statutory duty of the said bodies and persons.
5. I/we
further agree that the machine which I/we enter and compete on shall be
suitable and proper for it's purpose, shall be insured
as
required by the Road Traffic Act or
equivalent legislation and that it will comply with the regulations in respect
thereof, and is described below.
6. I/we understand and agree
that I am/we are required to register my/our arrival by signing-on at the
event/race control office or other
designated area, not less than 30 minutes
prior to commencement of said competitor's practice or first competition,
whichever occurs
first.

for all acts or omissions on the part of his riders, passengers, mechanics or
any member of his entourage, but each of these shall be equally responsible for
any infringement of the ACU National Sporting Code.
